In order to spend a pleasant stay in Buenos Aires, Diferent BA suggests tourists not to carry with them important and personal documentation or identification cards when going out. If you are planning to go out at night, avoid dark places and put your money in a safe place or handbag. This last option is not too safe since they are easily stolen while walking along streets. Although Buenos Aires has plenty of security and safety, it is not recommended to rely fully.

Multiple means of transport allow you to travel around the city: five lines of subtes (the abbreviated name for subterráneo [subway]),more than one hundred lines of colectivos (name for "buses" in Buenos Aires) and interurban railways (or trains).

Subways: The five lines

This is the fastest and easiest way to reach your destination. The five subway lines (commonly known as "subtes") are connected with the main avenues and railway and bus stations, and converge upon downtown, the main tourist and hotel area.

· Neighbourhood)
· Linea E: From Bolivar (Downtown) to Plaza de los Virreyes (Parque Avellaneda and
· match with the Premetro train)
· Linea H: From Parque Patricios to Av. Corrientes

The fee for this means of transport is flat, $ 2.50 and there is no need to pay a second ticket if matching within the five subway lines were needed.

· Aires Province).

Fare: $ 1.25

Taxis can be easily recognized by their colors - black and yellow. In addition, a red light on the taximeter indicates that they are available.
Radiotaxis (provided with radio systems) are considered safer. They can be requested by phone.
